I almost always use a Canon 5D mark II. But it’s actually the lenses that make a huge difference. All of Canon’s L series lenses are amazing. Any of the low budget primes are amazing as well the 28mm f/1.8, 35mm f/2, 50mm f1.4 or even the 50mm f1.8 II which is only $125. Not too bad considering the 50mm f/1.2 is now listed at $1619.00
And of course Nikon and similar companies are just as good. If in doubt go with prime lenses (fixed focal length). Every camera company makes really amazing 35mm, 50mm and 85mm prime lenses.
